Where do you meet?
Gastown Tour: Angel of Mercy Statue in front of Waterfront Station. It is at the north foot of Seymour St. at Cordova. The Statue is located at the southeast corner of the building in front of Rogue Kitchen.
Downtown Tour: Christ Church Cathedral at Georgia and Burrard streets.
West End Tour: Sylvia Hotel
New West Tour: Hyack Square
What time do the tours start?
Our Gastown and New West Tours start at 7:30pm. Our Downtown and West End Tours usually start at 8:00pm. Private Tours are flexible.
How long are the tours?
The walking tours run around 90 mins or so. All participants must be able to walk/stand for 90 minutes, approximately 2 kms.
Accessibility:
Most of our tours are wheelchair accessible but due to the heritage nature of some of the areas we visit, it can be difficult to navigate, especially the Gastown Tour. The New West Tour also has a very steep hill.
The New West Tour ends inside a building, which is not wheelchair accessible; the guide can tell the stories outside the location but guests who cannot navigate stairs will not be able to enter and wander through the location afterward.
I don't have a credit card, can I pay in cash at the time of the tour?
Yes, we do accept walk-up guests based on availability. Our tours do sell out and we would hate for you to be disappointed. Our ticketing does also accept debit card and PayPal if those are better options for you. Walk-up rate is $28 (same as the online total) per person, please have exact change. For more information please contact us at ghostlyvancouvertours@gmail.com.
Is this tour suitable for children ?
We welcome everyone over the age of 12 on our tour, however be advised that subjects such as prostitution, crime, murder and other unpleasantness are discussed. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. The attendance of any children on the tour is up to parental discretion.
Will I see any ghosts?
We sure hope so! But if you do it will be the real thing. We don't have anyone jumping out at you. We are all about storytelling... not gimmicks.
Can I bring my Dog?
For most of our tours, dogs are not a problem. The New West tour however, ends inside a building, which does not allow for animals. Certified assistance dogs are welcome on all tours.
